From 27 to 28 May 2013 in Uppsala University (Sweden) was held an international conference «Limit Theorems in Probability Theory and Asymptotic Statistics», among the organizers of which was NTU "KPI".

It was the fifth conference of the same name (previous held in Cologne, Paderborn, Ulm (Germany) and Kiev (in NTU "KPI"). This time, at the conference were discussed actual problems of mathematical statistics and applications of limit theorems of probability theory in statistical calculations.

The conference was opened by plenary lectures of prof. U. Stadtmüller and prof. O.I. Klesov.
